Oh my goodness, am I (are you) becoming a Mean Girl? In today's episode, you'll learn 7 ways to expose the Mean Girl, and how to express the truth about her...YOU. The Sacred S.O.L. Story behind this message involves the infamous question that changed my life, and can change yours as well. My journey began once I became the answer, and made the decision to love myself well. Thus, becoming the great lover of my life.

Yes, it’s vital that you love yourself well, but this doesn’t happen overnight. However, it starts with a choice.

The choice to either believe the lie, or to believe the truth about ourselves.

I used to suffer from what I call a “DIVORCED HEART” — the disconnection between my head and heart. Ultimately leading to my believing the lie of “not enough-ness.

It’s a feeling that most of us have, or have had. One that eventually we must acknowledge, and choose to believe or not believe.

This was MY moment of truth...

It came to me as a question in the middle of the night, and drastically changed my life.

God spoke from my heart and asked, “Shannon, do you love yourself?”

Imagine if someone asked you this.

Do you love yourself, my dear?

If you can’t answer this question, or your current answer isn't a resounding YES, then today’s the day to begin the journey of…

Spending time with you. Knowing you. Loving you. No longer accepting that which you do NOT desire.

Perhaps your answer is YES. Awesome. However, you can still take your relationship to the next level.

Are you ready to do that?

Do you consider yourself to be your “Bestie”. That is, your BEST Girlfriend?

Yes, being YOUR Bestie is the OPPOSITE of being a Mean Girl.

Have you become a Mean Girl to yourself?

If so, it’s time to STOP being the Mean Girl.

This is being a Mean Girl:

1. When you compare.

Comparing yourself to others or what you think you “should” be.

2. When you don’t dare…

Not daring to do the things that are in your heart.

3. When you’re unaware.

4. When you don’t care…for yourself.

5. When you tear yourself down.

6. When you “pair” yourself with someone who doesn’t care. (Remember, choose your connections wisely.)

7. When you wear beliefs that no longer fit or serve you.

It’s time to try on a new belief.

Do you love yourself?

Would you be willing to believe that you CAN be your BESTIE by liking, and loving YOU?

Are you willing to stop comparing?

To start daring to live the life you desire?

To start becoming aware?

To start caring?

To stop tearing yourself down?

To pair yourself only with those who care about you as much as you care about you?

To try on a new belief that you are LIKE-ABLE, LOVE-ABLE, and are NOT becoming a Mean Girl…that you are a Bestie…a Best Girlfriend to yourself and others?

Today’s the day to become a BESTIE to yourself, my dear.

Please grab your SACRED S.O.L. D.A.T.E. JOURNAL (Daily Action To Engage yourself.)


Write out a statement of declaration that you commit to becoming a Bestie to yourself — no longer being the Mean Girl.

Circle it. Commit to it today.

And if you’d like to take it a step further, write yourself a beautiful Love and Like Letter.

No, you are NOT becoming a Mean Girl…you’re becoming a BESTIE Girl.
