Manage episode 377863631 series 2842079
Ken Rideout is one of the fastest runners over the age of 50 in the world. He won the 50-and-over division at the New York City Marathon (2:33:31) in 2021 and the Boston Marathon (2:30:21) in 2022 and he has come in second in that age division in London (2:29:54), Chicago (2:29:53), and Berlin (2:35:48). He also won the 2021 Myrtle Beach Marathon outright in 2:30:58 just before turning 50.
But in this conversation, we focused more on the real pain. How Ken went to trauma healing center, his struggles as a parent, physical pain vs. emotional pain, how to hit the next level emotionally and spiritually, and how to flip the switch to dominate.
