Today we'll hear from Jenny Riemer, who was a four-year starter on Elon University's women's soccer team and has coached at the youth and college level.
Jenny was one of those unheralded players who never caught the attention of big-time college coaches.
But through scrappiness and persistence, she landed offers from Columbia University and the U.S. Military Academy, in addition to Elon, a private, Division I school in North Carolina.
Following her playing career, Jenny has helped coach elite club teams and was a volunteer assistant coach at Howard University.
Jenny will help you understand:
* The importance of picking the right sport & having the right attitude as a recruited athlete
* How to get noticed when you’re not the flashiest player
* How to put together a list of schools
* How to email coaches, and what you should say
* What questions to ask coaches on recruiting visits
* And lots more!
