There’s no question that when you excel in a social situation, that is due to your positive inner monologue which is influenced by your subconscious mind. This inner monologue reveals your thoughts, beliefs, questions, and ideas.

Your inner monologue can be negative and positive, and encouraging and distressing. If you’re the optimistic type, your inner monologue may be more hopeful and positive. The opposite is generally true if you tend to be a pessimist.

Positive thinking and optimism can be effective social skills tools. Indeed, having a more positive outlook on life can provide you with relationship and connection benefits.
