This week Tom & Zeus review the 1975 legendary live album, KISS Alive!
Considered to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest live album ever, KISS Alive! perhaps saved KISS' career. The album came after the first three studio albums failed to ignite any real interest in KISS. The band wanted to something that captured the band's explosive live concerts.
From the incredible album cover, back cover and gatefold to the famous opening by J.R. Smalling, to the incredible performances by the band, to the infamous Paul Stanley stage banter, KISS Alive! has it all.
This is SIOL's 8th live album review. The guy's breakdown the album, the tracks and of course Paul Stanley's stage banter as well. They list their top 5 favorite tracks and rank the cover and the album against the 7 live albums by KISS that were previously reviewed.
