*** IAYAALIS shares the ancient Her-Storical account of "The Thunder, Perfect Mind" ***
๐Ÿง
So, Y'all Ready?
Good.
b'cuz I wanna go back
- way, Way, WAY Back!
Just imagine time-traveling
with me for a sec...
I wanna take y'all on a journey.
โณ
So let's go back to a point
way before ancient His-Story.
Let's just blink ourselves away
to the mystical primordial era
that holds the voice of Her-Story.
๐Ÿšบ
Among the old gnostic
manuscripts at Nag Hammadi
there was discovered
a strange and magical poem.
The cryptic words are written
as if narrated by
a divine female revealer
or in the wise voice of
The Great Goddess.
๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒŸ
Therefore in this cast I humbly
present and read to you
the beautifully cosmic verse
of The Divine Feminine.
This ancient text is called
"The Thunder, Perfect Mind".
๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ
And, understandably -
Y'all may or may not
wanna bend the knee.
But certainly you can
lend an ear to hear
these otherworldly words
by way of the original Wise Dome.

"Thunder, Perfect Mind exists only in the Coptic version found at Nag Hammadi. The author, date, and place of composition are unknown..."
- Anne McGuire
The work as a whole takes the form of a poem in parallel strophes, and the author, it may be surmised, has drawn on a tradition of such poems in both Egyptian and Jewish communities, in which a similarly female divinity (Isis/Auset or aspect of the divine Sophia respectively) expounds her virtues unto an attentive audience, and exhorts them to strive to attain her. Patricia Cox Miller suggests that it is the "self-revelation of a powerful goddess"
