In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with Dr. Alan Goldhamer all about water fasting and intermittent fasting. While Intermittent fasting is what everybody is talking about these days long-term water fasting has been proven to have amazing medical benefits. So we have asked the expert to break down intermittent fasting and what you need to know about it. He explained the difference between intermittent and water fasting and everything you need to know especially when to do it alone and when you need to be medically supervised. We are not recommending that you go on a long-term water fast yourself in your home. We talked about everything from how to adjust your supplements when intermittent fasting to fasting and cancer. Despite talking about fasting, this episode really made us hungry knowing how good the food is at the True North Health Center.

Dr. Alan Goldhamer is the founder of TrueNorth Health Center, a state-of-the-art facility that provides medical and chiropractic services, psychotherapy and counseling, as well as massage and body work. He is also director of the Center's groundbreaking residential health education program.
