Hillmeyer is involved in honey pollination and encountered bears in his beeyard himself. He launched an on-line survey to find out what other beekeepers have encountered. To date, of the 11 surveys filled out, more than $30,000 in damages have been accounted for. He visits more about the effort to come up with a plan.
