Justin Herbert was present at Los Angeles Chargers OTAs already throwing after offseason surgery and gaining chemistry with first round pick Quentin Johnston. The added bonus to Herbert being out there is building his relationship with new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. The Chargers defense is winning early on at practice with Derwin James and Asante Samuel Jr. flashing early. The continuity on defense is an underrated storyline and should payoff in training camp and into the season. Another great thing about OTAs is that star pass rushers Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack back on the field health together. Both guys have expressed unfinished business and how this offseason time tougher should produce in season results.
