He is the former professor of food science and human nutrition at U of Illinois. He has been studying protein, amino acid requirements and the interrelationship between dietary protein and carbohydrates in adult health for the past 30 years.

In this episode, we discussed:

- what your first meal should consist of,

- the importance of getting the correct amino acids in your diet,

- the difference between casein and whey protein,

- ideal amount of protein to build muscle
