We are back with another episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, and I'm joined by Twitch streamer, presenter, and power-washing enthusiast Bex From TristaBytes in the co-host chair to chat through and review the week on UK TV, film and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.
Bex is currently trying to kick an addiction... to power-washing dinosaurs. She has been playing the 'Tomb Raider' DLC for 'PowerWash Simulator', which allows you to clean Croft Manor (including her dinosaur trophy), so we chat a little about that. We also discuss the merits of the utterly brilliant 'Unpacking'. On the TV side, she has recently completed a rewatch run-through of the highly acclaimed 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine', and gives us her thoughts on how it stands up today. Meanwhile, I review new Netflix release 'Luther: The Fallen Son', and we discuss the major winner of the Oscars this year, 'Everything Everywhere, All At Once'.
In the news section, we run through all the renewals, cancellations and pick-ups, and also reveal which shows haven't yet been officially cancelled or renewed, but you need to watch out for. We chat about 'Red Dwarf' getting out of its legal battle, the return of 'Challenge Anneka', a new Batman animated series, and a whole lot more!
