After an extended break, we are back with more episodes of the Geektown Radio podcast right up until Christmas, and Matt from Entertainment Talk returns to the co-host chair to chat through and review the last few weeks on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.
As we have been "off air" for a few weeks we have lots to catch up on. Matt begins with a review of Apple TV+ series 'The Mosquito Coast' which returned for Season 2, and also discusses the new trailer for 'The Last Of Us' tv show, which he is extremely excited about. Meanwhile, I bring some spoiler-free thoughts on a couple of shows I caught whilst I was away - 'Our Flag Means Death', which has just been picked up by the BBC for the UK, and 'Titans' Season 4, which we're expecting in the new year on Netflix UK.
In the news, we also run through some of the stories we missed whilst we were off. That includes all the renewals, cancellations and pick-ups such as ‘Staged’ Season 3, 'Neighbours', and the new 'Spider-man' adjacent series coming to Prime Video. We also chat about ITVX and there new Arthurian Legend series ‘The Winter King’, and Netflix's new "pick an episode to start" heist drama 'Kaleidoscope'.
