Happy Wednesday, Fairy Sleepers! Tonight's story is Robin Hood's Visit to Longdendale from the book Legends of Longdendale by Thomas Middleton. Even though Robin Hood has numerous stories and lore surrounding Robin and his band of Merry Men, this story has a bit of a twist. This story is based on local lore from the town of Longdendale near the river Tame (Not the Thames) told to the author. I do love a good twist as well as a story about Robin Hood!
