It's Comic-Con time! This is our first of two shows from San Diego for SDCC 2023 and we're ready to share our early impressions of the con. What's been packed? What seems less crowded? Where is the excitement? We cover all of that to start things off. Then, it's interview time!
We talk to artist Lee Bermejo about his amazing new story, A Vicious Circle, from Boom! Studios! He'll talk about working with a writer who is also a screenwriter, how he worked with different art styles in the book, give you great character breakdowns and much more. Plus, maybe a tease at what's coming next? Then, it was off to Mondo to talk to Peter Santa Maria and Hector Arce about those GREAT 1:6 scale figures, the massive posters they have this year and a lot more collectibles. We also had to stop by The Loyal Subjects (Booth 2544) to see all of their great new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exclusives. While we were there, we got to chat with TMNT artist Mateus Santolouco, who's work inspired this years figures. He'll talk about some of the detail work and excitement that went into making these Turtles and why the fans should be hyped for it. Stop by and take a look for yourself!
