Sion Brinn is a two-time Olympian (Sydney 2000 and Atlanta 1996), four-time World Short Course Champion (Athens 2000, Hong Kong 1999, Gothenburg 1997, and Rio 1995), 14-time NJCAA All-American, NJCAA Swimmer of the Year (in 1993), NJCAA National Record Holder (in both the 50- and 100-m Freestyle), and a 2004 NJCAA Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame inductee.
Sion is currently the Head Swimming and Diving Coach at Indian River State College. The IRSC Swimming and Diving Program has won 43 overall women's titles and 47 consecutive men's titles; the team just swept the 2021 NJCAA Swimming and Diving National Championship!
