Jesus told us to make every effort to enter through the narrow door. He warned us that many would say to him, "did we not prophesy in your name and we ate and drank with you," but that his response would be, "away from me you evildoers, for I never knew you." (Matthew 7:22-23 and Luke 13:26-27). The ability to know Jesus comes through the incredible gift of the Holy Spirit. In this podcast we'll dig into the Bible to learn what it means to truly know Jesus, be filled with the Holy Spirit and ...

Deuteronomy is the fifth book of the Hebrew Bible, and of the Jewish Torah/Pentateuch. The Hebrew title, "[spoken] words", is taken from the opening phrase, "These are the words..."; the English title is from the Greek and Latin, both meaning "second law", a mistranslation of the Hebrew phrase mishneh ha-torah ha-zoth, "a copy of this law", in Deuteronomy 17:18. The book consists of three sermons or speeches delivered to the Israelites by Moses on the plains of Moab, shortly before they ente ...

We are an Independent Adventist Church with a mission to evangelise the World. The message of the Gospel is to deliver us from sin and death, making us Holy vessels of God. The quality of the renewed mind is the mind of Christ who knew no sin, as it is written " awake to righteousness and sin not, for some have not the KNOWLEDGE of God ". Only the Holy can enter the paradise of God,

What’s up with the name “Disciple Dojo”?? Great question! One of my lifelong passions has been studying the martial arts. And the place where you study and train in martial arts is a Dojo. Christian Discipleship is similar to martial arts training (if you don’t believe me, just ask Paul–he says so himself in his letter to Christians in ancient Corinth [1Cor. 9:26-27]!). We have a Sensei (teacher): Jesus. We have a katana (sword): Scripture. Thus Disciple Dojo is intended as a virtual Dojo–wh ...

The Narrative Lectionary is a new lectionary source. The concept is simple. Starting September 9 2012 the reading for the day will come from Genesis. Each Sunday we will make progress through the Old Testament, until Christmas when we celebrate Jesus’ birth and enter the New Testament. By May we will have heard, through worship, the entire story of Scripture in a more complete way than the conventional lectionary offers. We hope this create scriptural fluency in all God's children!

When did being a proud American become a bad thing? When did having morals become a bad thing? When did the importance of a father, and a husband become a thing of the past? When did the Presidency become a place for complacent, incompetent fools? I am proud of this Country, and I still believe in what it stands for. Join me on my show to hear about patriotism, conservative values, and family values.
