Science fiction on television has been around for decades. But in 1993, Babylon 5 showed us a whole new way to see it. For five seasons it redefined serialized sci-fi storytelling, and added a new, shining jewel into the crown of genre fiction. On White Star Five, hear Scott, joined by Starbase 66 host Rick, discuss the many facets of Babylon 5, the good, the bad, the untold, and why it remains as engaging now as it was then.

The podcast that transports you to the ancient world and back, with some good conversation along the way. It's not just about ancient Greece. It's about a huge chunk of human history that the Greek texts give us access to: from Egypt and Babylon, to Persia, to Carthage and Rome, we'll sail the wine-dark sea of history with some expert guides at the helm. Topics will include archaeology, literature, and philosophy. New episode every month.

We see The Sci-Fi Christian, in all its iterations, as being about the collision between faith and nerdom. We believe that good genre fiction is about more than just entertainment. We seek to engage with the themes and philosophies behind our favorite stories, wrestling with the big ideas within speculative fiction. We’re unabashedly nerdy and unabashedly Christian. Even if your faith background differs from ours, we look forward to interacting with you at The Sci-Fi Christian!

Phil Rossi weaves a tale that is reminiscent of old school Stephen King but with a shiny, new set of trick ...

Each season pairs narrative storytelling from Aaron Mahnke, creator of the hit podcast Lore, with prominent historian interviews. Season Four: Grigori Rasputin
