Way back in 2006, I started putting together little mixes for fun using Traktor DJ. I spent long nights tapping out the BPM of my favorite songs and clumsily trying to put togther an interesting listening experience. I am not a professional musician or a DJ, so they are awkward at best, and I kind of like it that way. More recently, the series has become a little bit mashup, but still mostly continuous mix, and I've graduated to Ableton Live. Hope you enjoy!

the : metronome : project is based on a love of all genres of dance music. DJing under multiple pseudonyms I have continuously shared a diversity of sounds ranging from disco to banging techno. I first fell in love with dance music during the second British invasion. Dance music was not as divisive as it is now, and it was not uncommon for clubs to play house one night and trance next. This exposure to a wide range of genres and DJ styles heavily influenced me. Initially DJing under Twiggy S ...
