Every time you speak is an opportunity to make an impact. You get to decide what that impact is. The first words you speak always sets the tone for the conversation and how the other person views you.

When you talk with people, you define your relationship with them. Choose your words carefully and you will build trust and a positive reputation. Weigh your words before you speak. Don’t assume that you know everything about a situation before you respond. Ask questions and listen.

When you approach each conversation with the right attitude, it will be easier to choose the best words, convey the right tone, and communicate with social confidence.
